Use Instructions Suinco Mould Coatings are not soluble in water. It use requires forming a suspension in water that must be maintained through continuos agitation. A proper mixing is obtained by moderate mechanical (200 - 650 rpm) agitation. If air agitation is used, care must be taken in order to avoid the presence of oil droplets in the compressed air. To prepare, load the mixing tank
with 75 % of the water required and then, under agitation, slowly pour all
Suinco Mould Coatings until
achieving its complete dispersion. Finally add the remaining water until
obtaining the wished density.
The application of Suinco Mould Coatings on the mold surface can be done manually or automatically. Normally automatic compressed air spray
guns are used. To work properly, it is important that the film coating on the mold surface be complete and homogeneous without blotches or streakiness. To achieve this, some parameters like the pressure of the atomization air, the gun tips diameter and the height of the guns from the mold surface, must be periodically checked to produce a good spraying. It must be observed that the thin layer of Suinco Mould Coatings adhered to the mold be thoroughly dries before the filling. This means that the water of the suspension has been totally evaporated by the temperature of the molds. |
