DDS Natural Bone Ash
This product is a very fine grained homogeneous powder which is mainly used as release agent between the mould and the form during the casting, obtaining a smooth surface for the molded shape. Even in case the smoothness of the surface may not be important, the product is needed to protect the molds and increase their life expectancy.
It is also used as a protective coating on ladles, launders, tundishes , etc., inhibiting sticking of metal to them. Another common use is to protect all metal equipment and tools exposed to molten metal.
DDS Bone Ash is a non wetting powder with unique characteristics as coating.
