Mould  Coating  Material Comparison
If you are using Barite as mould coating for the casting of your copper anodes, we can assure you that a change to EXTRAMOULD coating will provide you better finished anodes that your electrolytic refinery customer should appreciate. Moreover, the change will bring your smelter economic and operational benefits.
Please keep in mind that Barite is widely used in many smelters basically due to its easy accessibility and low price in a per kg based criteria NOT for its global benefits. A Bone Ash based mould coating , like EXTRAMOULD , is the best material known for this purpose, as you can see in the following facts.
